Special Warfare Command Enlistment:

General Overview:

There are five levels of membership in Special Warfare Command. They are Prospect Member, Associate Member, Full Member, Silver Member, and Gold Member.


Application Process:

Membership in Special Warfare Command is free. No person shall be denied membership on the basis of race, creed, religion, sex, or sexual preference. Minimum age for team membership is 18 years of age although minimum age for participation in Special Warfare Command sanctioned events is 14 years of age, with parental permission and signed consent. Final say on participation age is up to the commander of Special Warfare Command. To initiate the membership process, one must go through the Special Warfare Command team recruiter. An application will be filled out and submitted to the Special Warfare Command recruiter. Upon review, the Special Warfare Command recruiter will submit the application for reviewed by the Special Warfare Command leadership element. If recommended, the application will go before the Special Warfare Command team, as a whole, for approval. The appointed Special Warfare Command commander, at any time, may choose to reject any application based upon current or past information.

Membership SOP:

1. Seek Recruiter. 2. Complete application. 3. Recruiter reviews application and submits to Special Warfare Command leadership. 4. Special Warfare Command leadership reviews for acceptance or rejection. 5. Special Warfare Command leadership presents application to Special Warfare Command team for vote. 6. Upon approval by the team, the membership level of choice is granted.


 


Prospect Member:

A prospect is a person who is introduced to the Special Warfare Command team over a period of six to twelve months. During this time, the existing Special Warfare Command team members work closely with the prospects learning their strengths, weaknesses, character, personality, and professionalism while attending required games, training, and social events. During their introduction, a prospect must demonstrate loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, personal courage, and safety at all airsoft and team events.
Prospect Membership Requirements:

1. Once the prospect member is approved, he/she will then be registered on the forums and be given access to all Special Warfare Command forums. 2. The prospect should read and understand all other Special Warfare Command related information the rules, regulations, membership requirements, uniform requirements, and all other related information. 3. The prospect must attend at least four (4) NCAO games and at least four (4) training days with current Special Warfare Command members. Attending Special Warfare Command socials are not required, but recommended. If more games or training days are required, the council will review the issue on a case-by-case basis. 4. All prospects are to have the required uniforms and equipment before the recruitment application is submitted. Uniform and equipment issues are to be presented to the commander for possible waiver, if needed. 5. The prospect must have a profile and login name on the NCAO Forum. In addition, he must be an active forum user, being this is where most of Special Warfare Command information is relayed. 6. After the prospect has achieved all required tasks, he must contact the Special Warfare Command council for final review. At this time, the council will discuss each potential member for possible full membership. 7. All members must be 18+ years of age. Prospects younger than 18, if vouched for by a current member, will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

The purpose of a prospect membership and probation period is so Special Warfare Command only selects Airsoft Players with the highest level of integrity and honor. This will help promote Special Warfare Command as an outstanding and professional group of airsoft enthusiasts.

 


Associate Membership:

An Associate Member is one that may not have the time, funds, gear, and ability to fullful the uniform, training, or game requirements. They can, however, join SWC Full Members at events and Games as Associated members. These members must apply in the same manner as all members, submit an application, and be accepted by the team council. They receive an “Associated SWC Patch” and are allowed to operate under SWC name and Patch at any milsim or training.

 


Junior Member:

Once a prospect under the age of 18 years old has completed the Junior Application, has been interviewed, and made contact with the SWC Command Elements, the individual is ready to become a Special Warfare Command Junior Member. Not only does Junior membership enable the individual to take advantage of additional training, it shows that the individual has what it takes to be a member of Special Warfare Command. At this point, a Junior member may decide to pursue other levels of membership or just fulfill the minimum requirements to maintain full membership.

JUnior Membership Requirements:

1. A member must have completed all required items as a Prospect member and the council has reviewed and accepted them as a full member. A full member must attend at least four (4) NCAO games and four (4) training days per year. 2. Members should demonstrate a high level of courage, honor, safety, and integrity at all Airsoft events. 3. The member should make any and all effort to attend any practices, weekend games, training, and social events. Special Warfare Command is not merely a team on the field, we are a group of guys that share similar interests. 4. Upon becoming a full member, one must acquire the necessary items for full membership if a waiver was granted during the prospect membership phase. 5. Members must have a profile on the NCAO forum and be an active user. They must also display the Special Warfare Command Signature Image in their profile. However, avatars are the choice of the member. 6. A member should promote Special Warfare Command in all manners on and off the field.

 


Full Member:

Once a prospect has achieved all necessary requirements during their introductory period, the individual is now ready to become a full Special Warfare Command member. Not only does full membership enable the individual to take advantage of additional training, it shows that the individual has what it takes to be a member of Special Warfare Command. In addition, the full member will be able to vote and have a voice concerning all issues associated with the team. At this point, a full member may decide to pursue other levels of membership or just fulfill the minimum requirements to maintain full membership.

Full Membership Requirements:

1. A member must have completed all required items as a Prospect member and the council has reviewed and accepted them as a full member. A full member must attend at least four (4) NCAO games and four (4) training days per year. 2. Members should demonstrate a high level of courage, honor, safety, and integrity at all Airsoft events. 3. The member should make any and all effort to attend any practices, weekend games, training, and social events. Special Warfare Command is not merely a team on the field, we are a group of guys that share similar interests. 4. Upon becoming a full member, one must acquire the necessary items for full membership if a waiver was granted during the prospect membership phase. 5. Members must have a profile on the NCAO forum and be an active user. They must also display the Special Warfare Command Signature Image in their profile. However, avatars are the choice of the member. 6. A member should promote Special Warfare Command in all manners on and off the field.

Please note that to be an active member, regular play is required, not simply 4 games a year. Special Warfare Command will have various training days, weekend play, and other off-the-field social activities. Everyone should make every effort to attend these.

 


Silver Member:

A full member, who has demonstrated a high level of dedication and devotion to the team, may apply for a silver membership. The silver membership is the second highest honor to earn in Special Warfare Command.

Silver Membership Requirements:


1. To achieve the second highest honor and coveted silver badge, applicant must have a minimum of three year as a full Special Warfare Command member. (Waiverable at commander’s discretion) 2. Applicant must have played in four out of state events and one nationally recognized event. 3. Applicant must have promoted airsoft by assisting in local, state, and national airsoft conferences, games, or expos. 4. Applicant must have exceeded the minimum team requirements for events, training, and social events, 5. Applicant must be qualified in two, or more specialty badges. 6. Successfully completed BCT 1.00, CQC 2.00, and ALW 3.00, 7. Be a Special Warfare Command certified level one instructor. 8. Applicant must have performed as an alternate instructor for at least one Special Warfare Command Instructor Training Program.

 


Gold Member:

A silver member, who has demonstrated the highest level of dedication, devotion, and sacrifice for the team, may apply for the gold membership. The gold membership is the highest honor to earn and the most difficult to attain, in Special Warfare Command.

Gold Membership Requirements:

1. To achieve the highest honor and coveted gold badge, applicant must have a minimum of five year as a full Special Warfare Command member. (Non-Waiverable) 2. Applicant must have played in ten out of state events, three nationally recognized events, and participated in one foreign airsoft event. 3. Applicant must have promoted airsoft by assisting in local, state, and national airsoft conferences, games, or expos. 4. Applicant must have exceeded the minimum team requirements for events, training, and social events, 5. Applicant must be qualified in four or more specialty badges. 6. Applicant must have successfully completed ALL Special Warfare Command training programs. 7. Be a Special Warfare Command Certified Master instructor. 8. Applicant must have performed as a primary instructor for at least three Special Warfare Command Instructor Training Programs.
